Tissue Remodeling in cardiomyopathies

Research Works
The structural and functional changes associated with different cardiomyopathies are studied in the CVS team. Myocardial remodelling in different cardiomyopathies involves the development of fibrosis which is studied by parametric imaging. Changes in ionic homeostasis can also be explored by sodium MRI with the development of this technique at 3T and 7T. This work is carried out in collaboration with various clinical departments and in the context of cardiomyopathies for which Marseille is a reference centre.
