  Schematic illustration of Zeeman Order and Dipolar Order (spin polarization of dipolar-coupled spins in their local magnetic field)

  Single-sided frequency-offset RF saturation (Provotorov B., 1962, Goldman M., 1970) effectively couples Zeeman order and dipolar order

  Dual-sided frequency-offset RF saturation (Lee et al., 2011, Varma et al., 2015) effectively decouples Zeeman order and dipolar order

  ihMT signal relies on the difference of MT images obtained with single-sided and dual-sided frequency-offset RF saturation
