DESTRUEL Aurelien
Research Associate (PhD) at CNRS
Detailed Activities
My current research interests include ultra-high field MRI of the spinal cord, with a strong focus on implementing and testing parallel transmit (pTx) techniques to reduce the specific absorption rate and optimize the B1-field distribution. My work also requires using electromagnetic simulations of radiofrequency coils on realistic human models and validate them with experiments.

General Information
I received a PhD degree in 2019 from the University of Queensland, Australia, followed by two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the same University working on radiofrequency coil development. I joined the CRMBM group in December 2020 as a Postdoctoral Researcher.
