inhomogeneous Magnetization Transfer (ihMT)

MRI sequences and associated image reconstruction software to generate parametric maps sensitive to myelin content. The proposed sequences have been optimized for MRI acquisitions operating at 1.5 T and 3 T (work in progress at 7T) for human explorations. Preparation of the magnetization is performed using RF pulses concentrated in time (low duty cycle) to significantly enhance the resulting signal; this preparation can be combined with a pseudo-stationary gradient echo readout (GRE or SPGR), or a fast gradient echo readout (RAGE or TFL).
