Detailed Activities

Research in the field of Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) applications to biological systems: heart disease in diabetes mellitus, heart failure and myocardial protection during long term preservation based on metabolic (using P-31 MRS) ,hemodynamic and biochemical evaluation (HPLC, western Blot…)

I perform all the MRS experiments on isolated perfused rat hearts. I am the biochemist of the group and I have a lot of expertise in biochemical assays such as HPLC, Western Blot or enzymatic assays. In parallel, I participe in the data analysis on cardiac energy metabolism, functional parameters and biochemical results.
