Detailed Activities

The current research interests of the ihMT team are focused on characterizing a new MR endogenous contrast: inhomogeneous Magnetization Transfer (ihMT).
We aim at understanding the fundamental physical mechanisms underlying the ihMT effect but also at investigating its potential for myelin imaging in preclinical (animal model) and clinical (MS patients and other neurodegenerative diseases) contexts.
